itself Dominicana certainly not a rich country and most of the population lives in poverty.
a decent wage is $ 100-150.
But with all this, I would note:
- good car (probably due to the proximity of America)
- all students enrolled in beautiful shape (apparently free, since otherwise why did they live in a house made of plywood?)
- they do not have light bulbs. At least in the normal places I had not seen them. Energy-saving bulbs everywhere and apparently they have them a long time.
